P'tang, Yang, Kipperbang

Fourteen-year-old Alan Duckworth’s life is dominated by two obsessions: his passion for cricket and his awkward infatuation with Ann Lawton, a girl in his class at school. Derided by his friends and drifting his way through his education, Alan is forced to confront his adolescent lust when he and Ann are cast as lead roles in the school play, a pair of roles that will require them to kiss.
