With the end of the last Ice Age in Europe about 15,000 years ago, the season got its revival. The eternal cold thus became the change between spring, summer, autumn and winter, which ultimately also massively affected the development of flora and fauna. In place of the snowy landscapes there soon was lush forests, the diverse representatives of flora and fauna offered a home. In its nature documentary "Our Wilderness" illustrates the French filmmaker Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud view of the changing face and the adaptability of nature in the course of the four seasons, and if they ever come to terms with the varying environmental conditions which nowadays are not least of which due to the continued rise in influence of man.
