Based on A E W Mason’s famous novel The Four Feathers, this is the story of Harry Faversham. The son of a prestigious general, he is forced to enter the army against his will. When his father dies, however, he leaves his regiment as they set off for Sudan. This decision leads to his friends branding him a coward. As a symbol of this, each sends him a white feather. Determined to prove them wrong, he follows them to Sudan where he becomes a hero.
