The Starving Games

The Starving Games follows the dutiful and determined Kantmiss (MAIARA WALSH) as she and her geeky crush Peter (CODY ALLEN CHRISTIAN) battle other teenage contestants from the nation’s 12 districts in an annual, nationally televised fight to the death spectacle, sanctioned and controlled by the evil President Snowballs (DIEDRICH BADER). When her little sister Petunia (KENNEDY HERMANSEN) is chosen at the Gathering Ceremony, Kantmiss bravely steps forward and volunteers to take her place—an unheard of self-sacrifice in this lethal contest. Kantmiss’s boyfriend Dale (BRANT DAUGHERTY) erupts in jealousy when the handsome Peter also volunteers, professing his love for Kantmiss, and completing the District 12 team.
