From the respected producer Michael Balcon comes the story of the designer of a scheme to build a transatlantic tunnel who journeys to America. There he is photographed everywhere with the daughter of one of the project backers. His wife, thinking she has lost him, takes a job working at a first aid post in the tunnel. When she receives news that her job is causing her to lose her sight, the couple may yet be drawn back together.
