TROUBLE THE WATER is an extremely visceral account which begins from the perspective of a couple (aspiring rap artist Kimberly Roberts and her husband Scott Roberts) who filmed their neighborhood the day before and the day of Hurricane Katrina with a camcorder they had bought on the street a week earlier. This story of survival under extreme conditions touches on issues of race and class and the stratification of our society, and speaks to anyone interested in the `state of our union' and the upcoming election.
