Nouadhibou is a small fishing town pegged to a peninsula on the Mauritanian coast. Abdallah, joins his mother, waiting for his departure to Europe. In this place of exile and fragile hopes , the young man, who does not understand the language , trying to decipher the world around Nana , a sensual young woman who tries to seduce him, Makan who like him, dream of Europe, Maata, a former fisherman turned into electrician apprentice and his disciple, Khatra.
