Wild Mouse

The fifty-year-old George has been a respected music critic for a Viennese newspaper for many years. His chief editor, Waller, one day surprisingly announces him dismissed on the grounds of austerity measures. George conceals this from his younger wife Johanna, who wants a child from him and is busy waiting for her next ovulation to put her plan into action. By day George uses his newly gained free time to rehabilitate an old roller coaster together with his also unemployed former colleague Erich and his Romanian friend Nicoletta. By night, George rises against his former boss.
