She plays John Ruskin's mother in the drama Desperate Romantics about the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and had a recurring role in Heartbeat as Sgt Jennifer Noakes. She played Head of History: Audrey McFall in BBC One show Waterloo Road.
