East High’s winter production is having a few trust issues. EJ discovers the video of Nini singing "I Think I Kind Of, You Know" to Ricky, then he finds a heartfelt voicemail from Ricky which he impulsively deletes. Meanwhile, Nini misses an important rehearsal. Suspecting Gina as the source of her troubles, Nini cooks up a retaliation plan to keep Gina off balance. During rehearsal, EJ lets it slip to Ricky that he knows about the voicemail and warns Ricky to stay away from Nini. To add to the messy mix, Mr. Mazzara confronts Miss Jenn about her past.
