Set in Grove Fall, USA, the program starred Martin Huston as Jeffrey "Jeep" Allison, a mischievous ten-year-old boy reminiscent of Dennis the Menace. Jeep was the younger of two children of Dr. Robert Allison,, a widower and small-town doctor.
