Raffles was a 1977 television adaptation of the A. J. Raffles stories by Ernest William Hornung.. Set in Edwardian era London, it featured the criminal adventures of gentleman burglar Arthur Raffles, a renowned cricketer, and his friend, the eager but naive Harry 'Bunny' Manders, as they test their skills in relieving the undeserving gentry of their valuables whilst avoiding detection from Scotland Yard's suspicious Inspector Mackenzie. The series was produced by Yorkshire Television and written by Philip Mackie.
