Abaddon's Pit

Abaddon’s Pit is a surrealist thriller about the quest for truth, blind faith and unresolved trauma. Dave blames himself for the death of his wife, and moves to the abandoned family farm to recover. There, he connects with his cousin. When they find a bottomless pit that changes everything that enters it, they become obsessed with its secrets. Guided by the voice of a mysterious philosopher, Dave becomes convinced that the pit can restore his wife and resolve his trauma. While Dave is driven to understand the pit, the local minister leads the church into a frenzy against the pit, believing it to be the realm of the Biblical demon Abaddon. As the town turns against him, Dave must confront the cult and descend to the mysteries below. In the pit, Dave’s mind unravels as he finally faces all that he’s been hiding from himself. What secrets hide at the bottom of a bottomless pit?
