Manamantha is a 2016 Indian Telugu drama film written and directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti. It stars Mohanlal, Gautami, Viswant Duddumpudi and Raina Rao and also marks the former's Telugu Debut after a guest appearance in the 1994 film Gandeevam. The film is Produced by Sai Korrapati. The film was simultaneously shot in Malayalam as Vismayam, because of Mohanlal's popularity in Kerala. The Malayalam version has a slightly different cast, with P. Balachandran replacing Chandra Mohan and Joy Mathew replacing Gollapudi Maruti Rao. The film was officially launched on 29 November 2015 in Hyderabad, majority of the shooting occurred in Vishakhapatnam, Chennai, Hyderabad, Secunderabad and principal photography commenced on the following day.
