Aruvadai Naal

Aruvadai Naal is a 1986 Tamil romantic drama film directed by G. M. Kumar. The film features Prabhu and Pallavi in lead roles. The film, produced by Shanthi Narayanasamy and T. Manohar, had musical score by Ilaiyaraaja and was released on 1 November 1986. The film was remade in Telugu as Muvva Gopaludu with Balakrishna.This movie was released along with another Prabhu-starrer movie Palaivana Rojakkal,both proving successful at box office.In terms of success rate,Aruvadai Naal had a 200-day run at several theatres and was the only Tamil film of 1986 to be nominated for National Flim Award For Best Background Music Score
