The film stars Mohanlal, Siddique, Saikumar, Bhavana, Jagathy Sreekumar, Indrajith, Manikuttan, Bijukuttan, Kalabhavan Mani, and Rajan P. Dev. Rahul Raj composed the score and soundtrack of the movie. The film opened to positive reviews from critics and went on to become a blockbuster at the box office. It was the highest-grossing Malayalam film of the year.
