Crossing

Lia, a world-weary and financially struggling former schoolteacher has promised to fulfill her recently deceased sister’s last wish – to find her long lost daughter Tekla. Together with Tekla’s former neighbor and friend, an out-of-luck young man called Achi, she embarks on an emotive journey forming an unlikely and involuntary bond as they navigate the backstreets of Istanbul together in search of Tekla.
