Explorer Sir Clive Cheyne (James Carew) is visiting Madame Tussaud's wax museum to see his likeness when a friend proposes a bet: For 100 pounds, he must spend a night in the Chamber of Horrors. Cheyne accepts, not realizing his life is in danger. His niece, Carol (Lucille Lisle), is engaged to a corrupt man whose associate owes a considerable debt to Cheyne. Rather than pay the adventurer back, Carol's fiancé and his pal intend to take advantage of Cheyne's bet and murder him in the museum.
