The charming Jason lives alone in a large house in war-torn Lebanon, choosing to embrace his newfound independence the reticent bachelor hosts a party for his expanding circle of free-spirited friends. This salient six consists of the emotionally agile Louis and his ex girlfriend Nada, the drug dealing musician Elvis (not Presley), Jason's foray into cyber dating via his stunning new girlfriend Nathalie, And the gay coupling of Rami and Ziad. Living in their own bubble they are forced to face the harsh realities of their surroundings after Ziad shows up to the party bloodied, having been attacked by Rami's family. All of them are lost between traditional morals and the free thinking ideology that their developing bonds cling to. While seeking the high ground of independence away of the hostile urban landscape they are able to discover the beauty in one another. Their taboo allegiance to one another will result in tragedy and heartache, but their love and compassion for each other will change their lives and the lives of those around them forever. This first gay film from Lebanon sets a new standard for cinema from an Islamic society in the midst of the Arab spring.
