Discover
Retablo is a drama film, directed by Alvaro Delgado-Aparicio and released in 2017. A Peruvian film with coproduction assistance from companies in Germany and Norway, the film centres on Segundo, a young boy in rural Peru whose father Noé is training him in the family tradition of designing and building religious retablos, but whose secret shatters Segundo's world and everything he believes in. The cast also includes Magaly Solier as Anatolia, Segundo's mother and Noé's wife.
