Sammohanam (Enlightenment) is a 1994 Indian film in Malayalam directed by C. P. Padmakumar, starring Murali, Nedumudi Venu and Archana in the lead roles. The film received the Best of the Fest Award at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in 1995. The film is based on Rithubhedangal, a story written by Balakrishnan Mangad. The film being non-commercial and off-beat, was made on a controlled budget. Illayaraja did this film without charging fees as he was impressed with its storyline.
