Yaava Janmada Maitri is a 1972 Kannada language romantic drama film directed by Geethapriya and starring Gangadhar and Kalpana in the lead roles. The film is a direct screen adaptation of the novel "Jeevana Chaduranga" written by the novelist Ma. Bhi. She. Actress Vaishali Kasaravalli made her debut in this film, opposite comedian Narasimharaju. The film was remade in Telugu in 1973 as Sarada, in Tamil in 1973 as Radha and in Hindi in 1975 as Dulhan and twice in Bengali Bangladesh as Aradhona (1979) and Ashar Prodip (1997).
