Star Wars Tech is a 2007 forty-six-minute television documentary about the science and technology of Star Wars including droids (robots) and other major aspects. The documentary was included in the special features in the blu-ray release of all the Star Wars saga films.
Saving Star Wars is a 2004 independent film by Woodworks Films that was written and produced by Gary Wood. The title is a play on the titles of the World War II movie Saving Private Ryan and Star Wars. The first preview of the film was at a film festival called Reel Competition, where it was rated highly by the film-goers. It features David Prowse, the actor who played Darth Vader in the Star Wars trilogy. In addition, one of the principal actors, Jim Peterson, now teaches film, theatre, and alchemy at Carmel High School (Carmel, Indiana). The film was shot in central Indiana, and shown at the Star Wars Celebration III convention in 2005 in a nearby IMAX theater. The original concept poster was designed by Associate Producer Josh Shanks and Travis Bow.
Ewoks is an American/Canadian animated television series featuring the Ewok characters introduced in Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi and further explored in The Ewok Adventure and its sequel Ewoks: The Battle for Endor. The series was produced by Nelvana on behalf of Lucasfilm and broadcast on ABC, originally with its sister series Droids, and then by itself. The series ran for two seasons of 13 half-hour episodes between 1985 and 1986.
Star Wars: The Legacy Revealed (TLR) is a TV documentary which premiered on The History Channel in May 2007. It was produced by Prometheus Entertainment in association with The History Channel and Lucasfilm Ltd. The executive producer and director was Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Kevin Burns.
