Be Our Chef: Bibbidi Bobbidi Bon Appetit

In "Be Our Chef’s" premiere episode, the Merrill and Robbins families compete in a magical "Cinderella" cooking challenge. Kerri, Eric, Dylan, and Addison Merrill, along with Joni, Fred, Alexia, and Alivia Robbins are asked to take inspiration from Cinderella's Fairy Godmother, who turned a pumpkin into a carriage, and create a dish that reimagines a classic comfort food as gourmet cuisine. At Magic Kingdom Park, the families meet Cinderella and marvel at her glass slipper before making their way to the kitchen. Inspired by her mice friends, the families set out to transform simple meals into dishes worthy of a princess. To earn a kitchen advantage, the Garden Game pits Kerri and Dylan Merrill against Joni and Alivia Robbins in a corn-shucking competition. The team with the most ears of corn shucked in 60 seconds wins the Magic Spoon, as well as the power it represents. Things really start to heat up when a fire catches the Robbins family by surprise and the Merrill family goes all evil stepsister. But when the 60 minutes are up and the dishes are done, both families present their creations to Chef Douglas in the hope that they'll win the "Cinderella" pins and be one step closer to the grand prize of a Disney Cruise Line vacation.
