Discover
Late summer means fire season in the Yukon. While her firefighter husband is out battling blazes, Dr. Oakley hits the road with her girls to visit clients. A reindeer needs risky surgery, and an attempt to vaccinate lynx kittens turns into a chase through the underbrush. But nothing matches the emotional high of the happy reunion when her eldest daughter returns from wilderness guide training.
