Feeling the friction between the cast, Miss Jenn makes an executive decision to squash the rehearsal drama and cut right to a pivotal scene. Meanwhile, reeling from not getting the lead and suspicious of Ricky’s intentions, EJ. hatches a plan to snoop behind the scenes and get inside Nini’s head. During a break from rehearsals, Nini and Ashlyn share a moment at the piano performing the new, original song Ashlyn wrote. Ricky walks in and is captivated by Nini's singing, but is it enough to motivate him to stay?
