Dr. Anita Srinivasa is a single mom with two young daughters and a thriving medical practice. Following a recent divorce, she put her 5,000-square-foot house on the market. It sold within a few days. Rather than rush into buying another home, she chose to put their things in storage and rent a small, furnished apartment so she could take her time finding the right house. The apartment is small and far away from the children's school and her office, which makes for a long commute. She is now ready to find a new home that is small enough to manage on her own but large enough for everyone to have their own space.
