Jordan's a high-school senior with a heavy burden to bear. Jordan wants to be MADE into Prom King so that he can show everyone that he's more than just a big, funny guy on campus. While Jordan is enjoying a meal at home with his family, Joe Johnson enters and introduces himself as a personal trainer sent by Jordan's mystery MADE coach. Joe refers to Jordan as looking more like "Burger King" than Prom King. Ouch. The healthy eating regimen starts immediately when Joe has Jordan drink cod liver oil -- and keep it down. Later, Jordan learns that he weighs 373 pounds. The news is upsetting, but Jordan starts on the road to trimming down in an intense workout with Joe that leaves him exhausted. At the school gym, Jordan flips out when he meets his actual MADE coach, pro football player and Heisman Trophy winner, Eddie George. During an emotional talk, Jordan confesses to Eddie that he feels like he's failed in various areas of his life. Eddie assures Jordan that he'll help him turn his life around. Eddie has Jordan look in the mirror and declare himself the master of his fate and the captain of his soul. "I am the Prom King!" Jordan says with pride. After losing nearly 20 pounds, Jordan cheats on his diet and stops contacting his trainer, Joe. The result is a trip to the Big Whiskers Catfish Farm where Joe's friend Lenny gives Jordan a lesson on self-discipline and leads him on an outdoors workout on the farm. Right before Jordan sings in front of his peers, his competitor Bobby stops by to warn that it takes more than six weeks to reach his level of popularity and win Prom King -- the nerve. Jordan shakes Bobby's hand then sings the national anthem. In the studio, Jordan records an original tune that he wrote, 'King for a Day.' After a makeover, Jordan and his prom date Varayla head to the prom. His competitor Bobby is thrown out for inappropriate behavior. There are other candidates, but the announcement is made and Jordan is declared Prom King! The victory is sweet, and Jordan dances to his own song with his prom date. Jordan has been MADE.
