Made: Streamer Dancer: Jamie

Meet Jamie, she's a <i>Harry Potter</i> loving loner. Her wizardly ways keep her from having a social life, but now she's ready to cast her cloak aside and step into the real world. So she's going to be <i>MADE</i> into a high kicking, pompon-shaking Streamer. Jamie is defiantly well read and clearly a wiz, but when it comes to being popular and making friends there's just no magic. Jamie plays soccer but her teammates hardly ever see her around unless in school. She seems to be in her own world. The only friend she really has is her neighbor, Kelly, who is popular, outgoing and a Streamer. Jamie doesn't want to spend the rest of her high school years stuck in a make believe world. She wants to make some friends and focus on something real instead of imaginary, which is why she wanted to be <i>MADE</i> into a Streamer. At Kelly's sweet 16, Jamie meets her <i>MADE</i> coach, Gina, who is a former New York Jets cheerleader and professional dancer. Jamie's first assignment is to call every girl on the Streamers and ask them what it takes to be a on the squad. Jamie calls them but some of them didn't pick up their phones, so she decides to change her voicemail so that they will leave messages. Since Jamie took the easy way out, Gina makes her knock on five of the Streamers' doors and ask them in person. After going to their houses, she learns some helpful tips on what to expect during tryouts. The first week of practicing with Gina leads to a meltdown. Jamie is struggling to learn and follow dance moves. Things couldn't get any worse when Jamie tells Gina she is leaving for Hawaii for a family vacation. When she arrives in Hawaii, Jamie is surprised to see <i>MADE</i> coach Gina there. Jamie practices during her vacation, but she really just wants to spend time with her family and relax. Eventually, Jamie throws a tantrum and walks out on Gina during stretching. When Jamie gets back to New York, she tries calling Gina to apologize but Gina doesn't return her calls. Jamie decides to apologize in person. She has to prove to her coach that she is serious now, so with the Streamer tryouts just a few days ahead all she does is practice dancing. Gina is happy with Jamie's improvements and even invites her to a family block party. She is asked to be the MC and get the crowd going. Before the big day, Jamie gets a makeover and shows her new look to her family and friends. They are amazed by her transformation. On the day of tryouts, Jamie is nervous, but Gina comes out to support her. Jamie has to impress a panel of judges and stand out from the other dancers trying out. Although she doesn't make the team, Jamie completes her goal of becoming more social and having more friends.
