Marvel's Hero Project: Make Way for Jakhil

Jahkil wanted to help the homeless people he noticed in parts of his city, so he enlisted his family to join him in distributing his Blessing Bags, full of essential items such as toothbrushes and socks. He didn’t stop there, though. His efforts and outreach grew, ultimately handing out 15,000 bags in one year. His dedication to lifting others up got the attention of newspaper and TV outlets, and even President Obama. As he sets new goals for himself to reach even more people who could use his support, 11-year-old Jahkil never strays from his original goal with the Blessing Bags – to show people that, no matter their situation, they deserve kindness and dignity. That’s what makes a Jahkil a true Marvel Super Hero, and he’s about to get the surprise of a lifetime – immortalized in his very own comic – as he joins Marvels’ Hero Project.
