Young, hip, and soon-to-be homeless, Dessa and Tony are excited to buy their first home in the trendy west end. Monica, a contractor and Dessa's mom, has the down payment. But Dessa and Tony clash with her plan to buy a fixer-upper. The walls start to crumble when Dessa's dad John, Monica's ex-husband and arch-nemesis, comes along for the ride.
