Room Crashers: Modern Bedroom

Space is a problem in this tiny bedroom that resembles a college dorm. To make the room look bigger, the ceiling is opened up and an additional three feet of height is added. New windows, a cantilevered wall, and a sliding glass door bring in more light and highlight the new deck built on the outside. Shelving is built into the walls and around the new custom bed to save space. Hardwood floors replace an old carpet, but fun and unexpected carpet tiles also cover half the floor for extra comfort under the bed.
