When young, idealistic economist Salla Nurminen gets a job at the Bank Inspectorate, Finland is on the brink of financial collapse. At the heart of the crisis is the Central Savings Bank (SKOP), an impudent new player whose ‘young, invincible lions’ are making unprecedented fortunes through high-risk ‘strike and cash in’ speculations.
