Troubled twentysomething Vivian’s grandfather, Walt, has died and left her his house – which turns out to be situated on an isolated clifftop next to a notorious suicide hotspot. Using her own chaotic brand of off-the-cuff psychology, Vivian develops an unexpected knack for bringing people back from the brink, and in the process begins to pull her own life back together. But when she loses a teenage boy at the ledge on her watch, it triggers deep-seated feelings of guilt and distress around a distant family tragedy that threaten to send Vivian back into a cycle of self-destruction. Will the good she has done for others be reciprocated in her time of greatest need?
