Eskil & Trinidad

Eleven-year-old Eskil moves with his father from place to place all over Sweden. His father works to repair power plants as an engineer. For Eskil this is not an easy life because he can't develop any long-term friendships. In addition, his mother lives in Denmark and does not want to return to Sweden. His father used to be a professional hockey goalie, and thinks Eskil should follow in his footsteps, but Eskil isn't a fan of sports. Rather, he is interested in ships. One day he meets Trinidad, a somewhat eccentric and self-reliant older woman who is building a large ship in her shed.
