A musical Italian biopic starring Ermanno Randi, Young Caruso chronicles the life of Enrico Caruso, the world-famous tenor of the early 20th Century. But before Caruso was singing his heart out in opera houses all over the world, he grew up underprivileged in Naples, Italy. This biopic dramatizes the singer's early years, following his impoverished youth as he chases his dream of being a singer. Maurizio di Nardo plays famed tenor Caruso as an awkward young choir boy, while Ermanno Randi takes over the role in adulthood. A young Gina Lollobrigida (destined to be called "The Most Beautiful Woman in the World") co-stars as Stella.
