Al Vermin wants to know the location of Barbarian Barlowe's secret vault. His informant (a caterpillar in the midst of cocooning) returns on his last leg only to say '29th page...'. Meanwhile, Bonkers has written a book of poetry about his friends, including Grating (page 29). In the midst of this, Bonkers and Miranda respond to burglary calls involving page 29's missing from all kinds of books and periodicals. Things get personal when Bonkers' own page 29 is missing from his poetry book. Miranda and Bonkers do some research with Snitch, and Vermin's henchmen bug the conversation to find out that the page 29 they're all looking for is in the Hollywood police records at the station. A race for the treasure ensues, culminating aboard a ship. Unearthing the treasure, they discover a book of Barbarian Barlowe's poems! Incensed, Vermin throws the book at Bonkers and makes an escape. Miranda opens Barlowe's book of poems to page 29 and discovers (in poetic code) that the treasure is behind the ship's aft wall. Bonkers also retrieves his page 29 and reads his poem to Grating. To Grating's dismay, he actually likes it.
