Bill Davis is a successful engineer who resides in a large apartment in New York with his valet, Mr. Giles French. His life takes a sudden change when his niece Buffy shows up out of the blue to live with him. In the middle of figuring out what to do, Buffy's twin brother Jody shows up. Around this time Bill has to leave for a business trip in Peru. While he's gone, Buffy and Jody's older sister Cissy also arrives. Bill and his valet now find themselves the guardians of these three children.
