Bernard, a suburban teacher, lives with Victoria in a ZUP. Didier, a wealthy pharmacist from the 14th arrondissement, is married to Murielle. One drives a rusty 205, the other a black Mercedes. They are brothers-in-law and hate each other. During a meal, Didier and Bernard make a bet to stop smoking for two weeks, that is to say until the next family reunion. The challenge is launched, their ordeal is about to begin... The first days go wonderfully, everyone feels alive again. No more addiction! But things quickly escalate. Didier and Bernard find it more and more difficult to resist temptation... They then become irritable, liars, suspicious, until the day when... The famous family reunion finally arrives.
