Reggie (Roland Young) is an important young man. As the Marquis of Buckminster, he is expected to marry, a fact which his domineering grandmother regards as highly important. He, however, is determined to remain a bachelor, and when his grandmother begins setting him up with suitable young ladies, he sets them each up with suitable young men. This carries on, with him matchmaking every possible girl his grandmother introduces. One day he is takes a walk at night and comes across his grandmother’s secretary. He is forced to see her in a different light, but will this affect his vehemently protected bachelor status?
