Cloudburst

John Graham (Robert Preston) is in charge of the Code section at the Foreign Office. One night his wife is killed by gangsters, Mickie and Lorna Fraser, who are escaping from a robbery. Graham plans revenge, traces Fraser to his hideout, and kills him after forcing the whereabouts of Lorna from Graham in his official capacity as code expert in the hope that he might be able to help them by de-coding it. The police suspect that the murderer of Fraser is a trained military man. The method of killing and the coded note cause them to search their files of recent road accidents. Suspicion falls on Graham but they have no proof. How will Graham get revenge and solve the puzzle without proving his guilt to the police...
