The rip-roaring California Gold Rush city of 1850s San Francisco comes to life in this gripping western tale of love and law and order on the Barbary Coast, starring Joel McCrea (Wichita Town, Cry Blood Apache) and Yvonne DeCarlo (The Munsters). Rick Nelson (McCrea), after striking it rich in the gold rush, comes to San Francisco to help crusading newspaper editor Jim Martin (Onslow Stevens) clean up the city that crooked politician Andrew Cain (Sidney Blackmer) has under his thumb. When Nelson meets the beautiful Adelaide (DeCarlo), he makes it his personal cause to put Cain out of business for good!
