They Knew Mr. Knight

Life is pleasant if dull in the Blake household except that Mr Blake is worrying himself about his business. An elderly financier does them a good turn by lending him money, and the family prospers. All is well until it is discovered that the old man, Mr Knight, is a crook who has gained his money via some rather dubious methods. Starring Mervyn Johns, Joan Greenwood and Alfred Drayton.
