Craig Joseph Charles is a British actor, television presenter, DJ and poet. He plays Dave Lister in the science fiction sitcom Red Dwarf and played Lloyd Mullaney in the soap opera Coronation Street. As a funk and soul DJ he regularly appears on BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Radio 2, and was the presenter of the gladiator-style game show Robot Wars from 1998 to 2004.
