After an encore performance from Apolo and Karina of their sensual rumba from the night before, the elimination process begins. Things kick off on a high note when Shawn and Derek learn they are going to the finals! After a rousing performance by The Wanted, the elimination process continues. The second team headed to the finals is Melissa and Tony. Unfortunately, Apolo and Karina are headed home. Paula Abdul, who was in the ballroom earlier this season as a guest judge, makes a triumphant return by performing an amazing dance routine set to some of her greatest hits. Then we're treated to a performance act from Derek Hough. Once his dance is done, it's time to get back to business. The elimination process continues as Emmitt and Cheryl learn they are going home.
