Previous Episode "...and special thanks to the Seinfeld puffy shirt museum." Going into the first double-elimination night, it was pretty clear who was going to be safe. The five top scorers from last night's performance show were so solidly in the lead, it didn't seem possible that any of them would be going home tonight. And sure enough, Tom and Samantha announced that the stars who were safe tonight are: Joanna, Mark, Donny, Aaron, and Mya.  Of the bottom four, one would be declared safe. And, tonight, on her 25th birthday, Kelly was given the gift of at least another week on DWTS. Before the dance-off, the person with the combined lowest viewer and judge scores was revealed: Melissa Joan Hart. Though she was disappointed (her husband and kids were coming to see her dance next week), she was gracious and her partner Mark Ballas was very proud of her, having never danced before. And Melissa was proud as well—she earned a 10 a couple weeks ago for her Charleston! Then the faceoff began. Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova were up first, dancing the Samba. And he Michael seemed to be having fun, bringing life and hip movement we haven't really seen in many of his prior dances. Louie Vito and Chelsie Hightower followed up with a Jive, featuring some acrobatics and energy, but more than a few misplaced steps.  And while Bruno voted to keep Louie & Chelsie, both Len and Carrie Ann raised paddles for Michael & Anna, sending Louie home. He held his head high, proud that he was able to face his fears and perform way out of his element on the dance floor, with such a great partner. Then Louie and Melissa went off to talk to Jimmy Kimmel. Highlights of the night Taylor Swift started the evening singing "Jump Then Fall" accompanied by two dancers. And later she took the stage belting "Love Story" while we were captivated by Jonathan, Anna, Tony, Cheryl, Maks and Edyta on the dance floor. Superstar Cuban band Tiempo Libre brought the Latin rhythms performing "Tu Conga Bach" accompanied by four dancers. And we were treated to an inspirational video about the challenge and pride of getting a 10 from three esteemed champions: Nadia Comaneci (1st perfect 10 in olympic gymnastics), Greg Louganis (1st perfect dive in world championships), and Bill Walton (1971-1973 UCLA Bruins 60-0).   Comments from He Said/She Said "I can’t believe it! I really thought MJ Hart had a real chance at the mirror ball. She started out strong, didn’t she? She ended up a bit doll-like, seeming like she was inflexible, but I really had high hopes for her. (The yellow fringed dress I can do without.) SO sorry to see her go— she seems like the type who’d give her all (and I’m sure she did) and would surprise us all with some naughty Tango somewhere down the line." -- Karl Read more and join the conversation at He Said/She Said Music and Dances for Week Six Dance-OffPairDanceSongArtistMichael & AnnaSambaExpress YourselfCharles Wright & TheWatts 103rd St. BandLouie & ChelsieJiveI Fought The LawThe Clash
